First Topsy Turvy Cake....
This was my first topsy turvy and I learned a lot from it. It was a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream covered in fondant. The circles and letters were also fondant and the border was done in buttercream. There were a lot of things that went wrong while doing it so I wasn't to happy about how it turned out but in the end the birthday girl loved it.

My First Wedding Cake
My cousin asked if I would do 200 cupcakes for her wedding and a small cake for the cutting photos, she left the design up to me and this is what I came up with. I did handmade gumpaste flowers and leaves for the top and also some small gumpaste flowers , that got sugar pearls in the center for the cupcakes. The cake is a 6in vanilla with strawberry cream cheese filling, I iced it in buttercream and then took a diamond template and went all around the side of it and then put some sugar pearls on the corners of the diamonds. The cupcakes were vanilla, chocolate and red velvet. The vanilla and chocolate cupcake got iced with both vanilla and chocolate frosting and the red velvets got their usual cream cheese frosting.

Mother's Day cupcakes
St. Patrick's cake
I know it's a been awhile because I've been hassled every day to get the blog updated! So this is a start...I made this vanilla cake with white chocolate icing for St. Patrick's day. A bit plain, yes, but I didn't have a lot of time. It was a good cake, but not the best we've ever had. Hope you all have a sweet day!

When is a banana not a banana...
When it's a tulip! LOL, ok so when I was looking at my Sweet November Banana Fairy I thought she looked like one of my tulips that are blooming outside now. Of course I had to give the transformation a try, and with a little help from my altering teacher, I think I pulled it off...anyway I'm happy with her.
I was able to make this card for two challenges, a first for me, the ATS Wednesday Challenge and the Flutterby Challenge.
Hope everyone has a sweet week!

Another ATS Challenge
I think these Pure and Innocence images by Heather Ellis are just the sweetest and was so happy when All That Scraps got them in to their store. As soon as I received it I knew I wanted to use it in this week's ATS Challenge, use dots and stripes. So here is my finished card, I think I'll send it to my sister.
